Biography:
Orochimaru, a prominent antagonist in the Naruto manga and anime series, is first seen in the episode "Name! The Ones Who Made It! The Worst Possible Match!!" (though alluded to earlier). He is one of the legendary Sannin, a title bestowed upon him alongside Jiraiya and Tsunade by their teacher, the Third Hokage.
Driven by an insatiable desire for immortality and forbidden knowledge, Orochimaru abandoned Konohagakure and pursued dangerous experiments. He developed various forbidden jutsu, including techniques to transfer his consciousness to other bodies, thus extending his life.
He established Otogakure, the Village Hidden in Sound, to further his research and gather powerful ninja. Throughout the series, Orochimaru serves as a major threat, seeking to destroy Konoha and acquire Sasuke Uchiha's Sharingan to complete his ultimate jutsu.
